When is the Travel Clinic?

The Travel Clinic runs twice a week on a Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday afternoon, and is nurse-led. Each appointment is 30 minutes long, and they are available at the following times only:

Tuesday - 3.30pm, 4.00pm, 4.30pm

Wednesday - 4.00pm, 4.30pm, 5.00pm

Please note that initial appointments will only be held during these times, and all appointments are booked by the nursing team. You may get a pre-appointment telephone call from the nurse, so please leave as much detail as possible about your trip with the reception team.

How do I book an appointment?

You will need to download a Travel Questionnaire (see Documents on right hand side of the Home page) and complete it and bring with you to your first appointment. Please note that you must attend a MINIMUM OF 4 WEEKS PRIOR TO TRAVEL. If you contact us with less than 4 weeks until you travel, we unfortunately will not be able to see you, and you will be referred to a private travel clinic (listed below). We will be happy to print out a list of your immunisations for you to collect and take with you to this appointment.

What vaccines are available and how much do they cost?

The nurse will assess your travel requirements and will recommend what vaccinations are required (if any). She will also advise you of the likely cost. Please note that whilst some vaccinations are free on the NHS, others are chargeable. All vaccinations must be paid for at the time of your appointment. We accept debit/ credit cards, cheques and cash.
